Daniel's Tip #2: Redken Hairplay 12 Pliable Working Spray

So here's a super easy, long-lasting up-do idea!

Starting with clean, fresh hair (or even day-old hair, as long as it's not too greasy or product-y), heat up a curling iron. Take chunks of hair, in 1-2 inch sections all around the head. Wrap the hair around the curling iron, hold and spray with "12" while still holding the curling iron in place!

Now, this can get scary, because sometimes you see smoke. No worries! It's the product, not your hair, on the curling iron. (And FYI: you can use multiple things to clean your heated tools, like shampoo or rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball--just make sure it's cooled enough and you don't hurt yourself!)

Anyway, so you've got these super ringlets that are holding tight all over your head! Once finished, take fingers and start to ease the curl out. Then rake fingers into a very loose pony, and simply start pinning. If you have an extra lot of hair, you may want to secure with a ponytail holder/rubber band, but otherwise, just pin until you can't pin anymore. This is also a great look for someone who has shorter hair but needs a fancy up-do! It can look like you have tons of hair! Ha ha, optical illusion!
