Daniel's Tip #5, Redken Water Wax

Final tip of the day! Create your own look!

Okay, let's just talk for a second about how freakin' cute this picture of Katie is! But it's a great representation of how to use Water Wax to achieve a whole new hair style...

So let's break this down a bit.

The style is piece-y and textured, so we could go back Style Tip #3 from today. Use it with wet hair and let the air and your hair's natural texture do all the work! And even if you have longer hair, don't be afraid to try a similar style. Katie's cute bob is very sassy, but it'd be just as sexy-fun with up to shoulder-length hair (sorry you long-haired ladies, we'll have more for you later!)

So just kidding, you're not TOTALLY off the hook yet. While the majority of your hair is air-drying, use Style Tip #4 to create a side-swept bang. Even if you don't have bangs or your hair is longer, you can do a cool and swanky deep side part, a la this photo, and jazz up your every day look.

Once your hair is dry and has some great texture to it, go back with Style Tip #2 from today--piece away the ends. After you've warmed up the product in your fingers, go in to the ends and flip, flip, flip them away! I like to use a twist and flick trick. Grab some ends, twist them between your product-loaded fingers and twist and then flick them up and out. You can always go back and tame it, but it's a great way to get some cute, flirty ends.

Finally, you'll probably have a little bit of product still left on your fingers, DON'T WASH IT OFF! Rub your hands together again, let it warm up and then just gently place your palms on the hairline and at the part, to tame any fly-aways or stray hairs. We want the hair to be fun and flirty everywhere we want it to be, but not fly-away anywhere else!

See how easy that is?

Let me know if you try it! And send pictures of your results.
